Q + A

What airport should I fly into?

The closest airports are Pisa (PSA) and Florence (FLR). The venue is about an hour away from both. We recommend flying into either of those.

When should I arrive?

We recommend arriving in Italy no later than Sunday, September 15. The first event is in the evening Monday, September 16, this way you will have time to settle in, adjust to the time zone, and explore the area prior to the festivities beginning!

What will the weather be like?

September in the Lucca area is expected to be around 80°F during the day and 58°F in the evenings. We encourage you to pack shawls and light jackets as evenings may get chilly.

What is the currency?

Italy uses the Euro. You can exchange currency with your bank prior to traveling or at the airport once you land.

Can I bring a guest or my kids?

If we did not include your loved one or kids on your invitation, please reach out to us directly. We're hoping to accommodate, and sorry if we missed anyone!

How do I get to the events?

We will be providing a shuttle from centralized points in Lucca to the Villa for each day's events. More details to come. Please remember that Uber or Lyft is not active in the area.

Help! I don't have Indian clothes.

This isn't a requirement but luckily everything is done virtually now! A few options to order from are www.perniaspopupshop.com or www.azafashions.com. Please keep in mind shipping takes awhile so plan accordingly!

Do I need a converter for outlets? (ie: phone chargers, steamers/irons, straighteners)

If you're traveling from the US, you will need a power adapter for outlets. Italy operates on 230V voltage. You can find many inexpensive options on Amazon to make sure all devices work on your trip!
