Our journey together began in the halls of high school, where fate intervened and brought us together through mutual friends, the Quarles at the infamous yellow house. Alissa, a sophomore, and Austin, a senior, initially crossed paths without realizing the significance of the moment. It took a few persistent attempts from Austin to exchange numbers before I caught on, but once I did, there was no looking back.


Many of our first moments were spent together at our local mexican restaurant, Las Palmas, where we spent hours conversing and getting to know each other. We quickly became inseperable spending countless afternoons together after school cheering each other on at our games, watching our favorite shows, and simply enjoying each others presence. Once Alissa graduated high school we took a leap and began living together. At this point this is when we realized that we were truly compatible with one another.


One of our favorite things to do together is travel which sparked from our first trip to Trenton together. From there we have been to Cancun, Cabo San Lucas, Florida, Virginia, South Carolina, and our favorite of all, Michigan! In Michigan, Austin introduced me to some of my favorite memories such as eating coney dogs, Mackinac Island, and the Wolverines. We attended the Michigan vs. Ohio state game which grew my love for the team that Austin passionately supports. Go Blue!!!


Through the highest of highs and the lowest of lows, we’ve stood by each others side, emerging stronger with each challenge we faced. As best friends and partners, we’re thrilled to embark on this new chapter together, ready to exchange vows and commit to a lifetime of love and laughter after seven incredible years of dating.
