Back in summer of 2022, Bree was newly-ish single and had just graduated from graduate school. She wasn't quite ready to put herself out into the dating world again, but her cousin, Cassy, had different plans. During a girls pool day, Cassy insisted that Bree needed to have more fun and get back out into the dating world. She insisted that Bree make a Tinder page, which she was absolutely against having. After some persistence and persuasion, Bree gave in to the annoying pleas and let Cassy make a Tinder profile for her.

Eventually, Bree started to play around with the app and came across Connor's profile. Connor and Bree matched instantly. It started with him initiating conversation with a message joking about Bree’s profile picture with her dog, Murphy. After talking for a while on the app, they exchanged numbers and the conversation kept flowing. This all happened while Bree was in Florida for her cousin, Mallorie’s, bachelorette party. Needless to say, she was excited to get home and meet this Tinder boy in person.

Their first date was at Petros park to meet and walk their dogs. Bree was extremely nervous for this date because Murphy was a crazy puppy at the time. She was scared that Connor would have one interaction with Murphy and would never talk to Bree again, but let’s be real, those were just the first date butterflies talking. The park went excitingly well, their dogs got along perfectly, and you guessed it…Connor did talk to Bree again.

The very next day, Connor asked Bree to go to Gervasi with him for a "real" first date. He made the reservation and offered to pick her up at her parent's house, where she was living at the time. When he arrived, he came up to the door and escorted Bree to his truck, a true gentlemen. He attempted to open her car door, but his truck was locked and he couldn't let her in. (This whole encounter was captured on Bree’s parent's security cameras and they still make fun of him for it). After their date at Gervasi, Connor drove Bree back home and offered to meet her parents. At the end of the night, Bree knew that Connor was someone special.

They spent the rest of the week hanging out. By Friday night, the two had agreed that they were committed to each other and no longer needed the dating profiles. They deleted Tinder together and decided to give the relationship a shot, and they are so glad they did! While getting to know each other, Connor disclosed that he had just moved back home to Ohio from living in South Carolina for 2 years. When Bree and Connor matched on Tinder, he had his profile for 5 days and Bree had only had hers for 2 weeks. It truly felt like they were supposed to meet.

Fast forward, after spending almost every day together for about a year, they decided to take the next step and move in together. They looked around for houses for a while, but ultimately decided to purchase Bree’s grandparents house that she grew up in. They moved in together in May 2023 and worked to make it their home. In November 2023, Connor asked Bree to spend forever with him in front of both of their families. It was more than Bree could have ever asked for! Connor and Bree are so excited to embark on this next chapter in their life and to have all of you there with them to celebrate their marriage!
