Zach and Brenna met online through a dating app in August of 2022. After some time of texting back and forth, Zach and Brenna decided they wanted to meet each other in person. They met for dinner at Applebee's in Marshfield and followed with a night under the stars at Hamus Park. Zach and Brenna hit it off and decided they wanted to see each other again. It wasn't long after and they decided to make their relationship official.

The first few months of their relationship was long distance as Brenna was still attending school at UW-River Falls. To get through those months of not seeing each other often, Brenna would make trips home on weekends to see Zach or occasionally he took time away from the farm to visit Brenna at school.

Zach proposed to Brenna on December 28, 2024 at the same place they spent their first date, under the stars on a dock at Hamus Park. Of course she said yes... after it sank in that Zach was being serious this time when he got down on one knee.
