Bria Lanae Atkins was raised in Lynchburg, VA, by her parents Nilson Atkins and Alicia Velazquez. She attended Old Dominion University, where she got her Bachelors of Science in Accounting. She loves to try new TikTok recipes, dabbles in DIY's, and is currently growing her green thumb.

Ahmed Abdul Koudous was born in Philadelphia, PA, but was raised overseas by his parents Affouet Irene Bohoussou and Sanogo Solomon. He attended the University of Louisiana at Monroe, as well as Mercer University, where he obtained his doctorate of Pharmacy. He loves exploring new countries and experiencing different cultures through food and cinema.

Bria and Ahmed met on Tinder during Covid in 2020. Their first date was at one of their favorite restaurants, Jinya Ramen Bar, where they still frequent, and order the same items every time they go. Since starting their relationship, they have bonded over their love to travel, and have currently experienced 10 countries together.

Ahmed proposed to Bria on holiday in his home country, Abidjan, Ivory Coast, by surprising her at what was thought to be her 30th birthday dinner party. She walked into a bed of red roses, surrounded by friends and family.
