Miccosukee Casino
500 SW 177th Ave, Miami 33194
This casino is literally on your way down if you take hwy27/krome ave/177th. It’s even on your way if you take 41 across the state instead of alligator alley. We love to stop here for a “restroom break” and a couple slots. Never know you could get lucky
Lorelei Restaurant & Cabana Bar
96 Madeira Rd, Islamorada 33036
We enjoy stopping here for breakfast or lunch! The shrimp and grits are great and the seafood platters are totally worth it. Best thing ever, their key lime coladas! With a floater of course. You won’t be disappointed

I have never eaten here, but the drinks are strong and the Bloody Mary is fantastic! This is a must have for anyone who has never stopped here before. For a few bucks you can go out on the dock and hand feed the massive tarpon that hang out there! There’s also a bunch of little local art stands around their property for you to shop around at.
No Name Pub
30813 Watson Blvd, Big Pine Key, 33043
This hidden gem is on no name key right off of big pine key. Be sure to drive slow making your way to the bar as there is key deer everywhere! They don’t get very big, in fact I think our two labradors are bigger than a key deer. Do not feed them, you can get fined. This bar is a fun little dive with great smoked fish dip! It is beer and wine only.
