We have a room block at Courtyard in Boone, and there are a handful of other hotels in that area. We've included a few below. However, it's about a 35 minute drive from Boone to the wedding venue in West Jefferson.


If you’re wanting to stay closer, I’d recommend checking out Airbnb/VRBO. I've included a few other lodging options in West Jefferson as well. If you’re looking to play golf, Jefferson Landing might be a great option. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions about the area!

Driving Directions from Charlotte, Chapel Hill (provided by our venue):


Take US-421 N into Wilkesboro, continue straight up the Mountain (do not use 16N) until you see 221N towards West Jefferson.


Once on US-221 N. most GPS will direct you to turn right onto Idlewild. Which is an option; however, to avoid 2-miles of narrow gravel roads and stay on State maintained paved roads, follow these directions. This will add 3 miles; however, an easier drive.


After turning on US-221N, continue for 6.3 miles. Turn right onto Water Tank Road., continue 3.3 miles. Turn right onto Lower Nettle Knob Rd., continue 2 miles. Turn right at The Barn on New River sign, and veer left onto SouthFork Farm Lane.
