All it took was one message on Facebook. Carina and Jesus first started to get to know each other on Jesus's 19th birthday. They started officially dating on October 3, 2016 (2 days after Carina's 17th birthday.)

What better to celebrate six months together than by going to prom??

From living 8 miles away to 204. For the next four years, Carina and Jesus would take turns traveling to see each other while Carina was working towards her degree at Saint Mary's College.

Jesus proposed to Carina on February 13. A little over a month later, they took their engagement photos at Saint Mary's.

Surprise! Baby number 1 entered and left their lives on this day. Gilberto Jose will always be with them and they will always be grateful for the time they had with him.

Baby number 2 blessed them one day after their sixth anniversary!

The coolest chaperones at a high school dance. Jesus is always supporting Carina and her job whether that be going to school dances or traveling out of state to visit her alumni!

Carina and Jesus's first family trip to Washington DC. Although this was a work trip for Carina, the three of them all had a great time exploring the capital. (In case you're wondering, yes, Carina gave multiple history lessons.)

The best memories are at Comerica Park cheering on the Detroit Tigers. Since they began dating, Carina would take Jesus to a Tigers game at least once a year. Baby Jesus has joined in on the tradition during the 2023 season.
