Lexie and Carson met during their sophomore year at the University of Kansas inside Capitol Federal Hall. While in between mock interviews, Lexie and Carson struck up a conversation out in the lobby, but all Carson could think about was how beautiful Lexie’s eyes were. Carson left the conversation wondering if their paths would ever cross again, but it turns out he didn’t have to wait long – Lexie and Carson shared the same accounting class. Soon the couple began walking to class together and even going on dates, learning they actually shared a lot more in common.

Both grew up in small towns (Lexie - in a much smaller town, Carson would soon realize). Both enjoy quality time spent with friends and family. Both have a passion for sports and physical fitness. And most importantly, both are followers of Jesus Christ.

The relationship quickly began to develop, and lots of memories were made – none more notable than a summer spent in Italy, celebrating a National Championship on Mass St., and walking through the Campanile together during graduation. After two years together, Carson proposed to Lexie right where they first met – inside CapFed overlooking the historic Allen Fieldhouse.

As the big day approaches, Carson and Lexie are so excited to start this next chapter of their lives together and they couldn’t be happier to be celebrating it with you! Looking back, they are grateful for the role God has played in each of their lives. Without Him, none of this would be possible. Lexie and Carson also want to thank their friends and family for all the love and support they have given them.
