One of our first official dates out in Greenville, at East Carolina University where we met! I was in the dance program while Raistlin was in the theatre department. We had some crossover classes where we started talking and became friends!

We supported each other at our various shows throughout the school year! This was Fall Senior Choreography 2019!

Raistlin worked in New York that summer, I came to visit for a weekend!!!

We took an awesome trip to Niagara Falls!! Our first trip together!

We had such a good time. It was a really unforgettable experience.

Our first trip to Florida together! We had a really fun trip (even though we drove down to Tampa in his moms Miata with no air conditioning. In August.) to visit his family right before the school year started!

Continued to support each other during my Sophomore year, his senior year!

We had no idea what 2020 would have in store for the entire world

Spent some time exploring Tampa before we had to head back to school.

More time exploring and soaking in the warm Florida weather. We'd been dating for a little over a year by this point!

Our second valentines day together. He had to come rescue me while I was in class because my car battery died. He surprised me with flowers, chocolate, and jumper cables! So romantic! A few weeks after this, ECU will go fully virtual as the pandemic begins to pick up.

The school year is coming to an end so we just tried to spend as much time as possible with each other. Raistlin has decided to move to Florida to go to graduate school at Florida State University. We still aren't too sure what the future holds for us, so we tried to just enjoy every moment we could!

My 20th birthday! We celebrated with my family at the beach! In just a couple weeks Raistlin would move away to Florida and we would officially begin our journey of long distance!

Our second new years together and my first time visiting him at his new home in Florida!

I had such a good time visiting him, but its always such a bittersweet feeling knowing I would have to leave and it would be months before we could see each other again.

We got to visit again for spring break! He came to me this time in Greenville!

The summer before my senior year, I spent a month training in Chicago. Raistlin spent the summer in Iowa working at an Opera house. We both finished up at the same time and we were able to explore Chicago for a couple of days before driving home together. We had a very interesting 12 hour journey home complete with a flat tire!

One thing has stayed true throughout our whole relationship, from supporting me at my first show freshman year, to one of my last shows my senior year. Raistlin has always shown up to cheer me on. Even if its virtually from hundreds of miles away!

We were both obviously very excited that I was graduating as this meant our two years of long distance were almost over!

Of course he came to watch my first post grad performance in Durham at the American Dance Festival. Only a couple of weeks now until we move into our first home together in Tallahassee Florida!

Our first Thanksgiving together! We spent it in Tampa with his family!

Our first Christmas together! We spent this one in North Carolina with my family!

So thankful we are able to travel together to our families to celebrate the holidays together!

I organized a surprise birthday party for Raistlin! As he turned 25, approached graduating grad school, and celebrated going to Prague for several weeks to lead a project for his school, it was an extremely busy time that deserved to be celebrated by our closest friends and family!

Exactly one year after I graduate undergrad, Raistlin graduated from graduate school!

So proud of him and so happy we could celebrate with our family!

A couple of weeks later, we went on a trip to Ireland and Amsterdam. Raistlin proposed and I was ecstatic!

Once we got back we began a super stressful journey of moving our lives from Tallahassee, Florida to Atlanta, Georgia in pursuit of my dance dreams. While it was an incredibly hard transition to make, we both feel at home here now and can't wait for what the future may bring!
