What should men wear to the wedding?
Our wedding is black tie encouraged, which basically means wear your nicest outfit! Tuxedo or three piece suit is ideal, but a suit (matching jacket and pants!) is fine too. If anyone has questions on our dress code or just want some inspiration photos, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I have a TikTok video for reference I can send!
What should women wear to the wedding?
Our wedding is black tie encouraged, which basically means wear your nicest outfit! Wear a gown or a floor length formal dress. No beach dress, cream/white/red, or jean material. What will the event location be like?
Our wedding and reception are outdoors in the sun with some shade from trees. The ceremony itself will be on grass with chairs; the reception is on brick/cobblestone. There is a little walk out area that is worth viewing but is rocky! I will say that I feel comfortable walking in heels on all of these terrains but will most likely still bring flats for the rocky area/dancing at the end of the night. If heels are not your favorite shoes, please feel free to go for flats or bring some and switch as you please!
Will there be transportation to and from the wedding venue?
Yes! There will be a shuttle that will pick up at the Westin Hotel and drop off at the Olowalu Plantation before the ceremony and will shuttle back to the Westin at the end of the night. More details on exact times and pick up location to follow.
Do we need to stay at the same hotel as the bride and groom?
Though we would love to have everyone at the same hotel as us, we do not expect it. We are staying at the Westin Maui and have a block of rooms available - more information on the Travel tab.
Is there parking at the ceremony/reception?
We are encouraging everyone to take the provided shuttles so you can enjoy drinks throughout the night. However, if you are staying elsewhere or prefer to drive there is some parking available on site.
When do we need to be at the ceremony?
More information coming soon on exact times!
What are the “required” events?
For immediate family and our bridal party, you will need to be available the day before for the rehearsal. This would mean arriving in Maui on or before Saturday the 28th. Exact times coming soon so check back here for updates.
For everyone else attending the wedding, the ceremony before sunset and then continue into the evening, but we do not have a specific time as of yet.
Are we allowed a plus 1?
We are keeping our invite list small and intimate. If you have family or friends who want to travel out and enjoy the trip with you, we absolutely encourage you to do so! The wedding evening, however, is invite only, so only those listed on the invite can attend. For the rest of the trip, do as you please!
Are kids allowed at the rehearsal and when is it?
This is an adults only event!
The rehearsal should be about an hour; we would like to have no distractions, so we can get in and out quick to enjoy the rest of the day!
This could take place, potentially, in the morning. This will depend on if the day before our wedding is booked as a morning wedding or evening wedding for another couple. We will know closer to the date. Plan a beach or pool day, something flexible!

Do you have another question and feel like you don’t want to bother the bride and groom?
You are not bothering us! Text us; we are happy to answer questions!
Do you have a registry?
We are not having a registry; we understand it is not cheap getting to Maui, so your presence is gift enough.
