Knowing David since 2020 has been an incredible and heartwarming journey. My first encounter with him was at the Dutch Bros line in Prescott Valley, where I was working at the time. Even before we exchanged words, I could sense that David was a kind-hearted individual with numerous blessings from God. His enthusiasm for starting work at Dutch Bros was infectious, and I could tell right away that he had a heart of gold.
As we began working together, David quickly became a constant presence on my shifts. I had the privilege of training him on the ins and outs of the job, from making drinks to interacting with customers, and he never failed to uphold the high standards set by Dutch Bros. Over time, our friendship blossomed, and I came to appreciate his sense of humor, his willingness to help others, and his unfailing presence for those around him.
In April of 2021, David embarked on a dirt bike ride in Moab, Utah, and little did I know that this adventure would drastically change things for him. A call informing me of his serious injury left me devastated, with my heart breaking for him and his family. I did my best to support them during their absence, caring for their home and animals until their return to Arizona. When David came back, I stood by his side during his healing process, sharing in conversations, playing video games, and offering comfort.
David's remarkable compassion for others and his ability to listen and provide support through any situation truly set him apart. After nine months of recovery, David was fully healed, and on January 15th, 2022, he asked me to be his girlfriend. Our relationship has been a source of immense joy and growth, marked by his unwavering dedication to becoming the best version of himself and his endless love for those around him. When he proposed to me on November 19th of 2023, I was overjoyed to say yes and embark on this lifelong journey with him.
David's selflessness, love, and profound empathy have been a constant blessing in my life, and I am honored to be his wife. I am beyond grateful for the incredible support we have received from our loved ones and am thrilled to celebrate our union with all of you on September 21st. Together, we look forward to a future filled with love, growth, and steadfast support for each other, no matter where life may lead us. David is truly a gift from God, and I feel incredibly blessed to be by his side as we take on whatever challenges and joys come our way.
After much wise counsel and prayer, we made the decision to marry at the local courthouse. So, on December 29th, 2024, in the company of our immediate family and closest friends, we took communion and said our vows. Following the joyous I Do's and kiss, we celebrated our union with a lovely lunch. That day marks the beginning of an amazing life as David's wife and I look forward to sharing our story and recent lessons as a newly married couple.

In the middle of 2020 I was lucky enough to be hired at the local Dutch Bros. Coffee shop where I met a group of awesome people who I had a joy to work with. My high spirited attitude was something that entered the room before I did. I was blessed to have a patient trainer who also happened to be the most beautiful woman I had ever met. Over time I grew fond of her and the way she treated others and how driven she was (and still is) to complete her goals and missions in life. Sometimes to get her attention, I would make small mistakes or act wild just so that she would look my way. God's grace and mercy flowed through this wonderful girl. She has such incredible patience for everyone around her and puts everyone's needs before her own, something I truly admire in my friends. I did everything I could when we worked together to make her day easy, and also to see that beautiful smile. After many closes, long deep talks and fun hangouts, over a year flew by and we became such amazing friends. She became my best friend. Little did I know how much my life would change.
In a motorcycle accident of my own design, I broke my neck in April of 2021. My C1 vertebrae was broken in 3 places. This is the bone that connects the top of your spine to the base of your skull. For more info on breaks like these look up Christopher Reeve's story. By the grace of God I was still able to walk and taken to the hospital in Grand Junction by ambulance. During this entire process Chloe graciously watched the family animals. After 2 weeks in Grand Junction I was released home to heal in a restrictive soft collar.
During this time, my incredible friend Chloe, never stopped looking after me. She helped me to keep pushing on even when I was low on motivation. When I was sad, she helped to cheer me up with that beautiful smile of hers. She hung out with me and got me Dutch, told me all about work and other happenings in world around me. We played tons of Mario kart and Smashbros. All the while, I was dreaming and falling in love with my best friend.
Nine months later, I was completely healed. I am thankful to say by God's mercy and healing power my neck was perfectly restored; I have no residual effects of any kind. Not long afterward, I asked Chloe to be my girlfriend.
We were dating for 1 year and 11 months exactly when I asked her to marry me. In that time our lives changed incredibly as we each grew as young adults and in our faith. I graduated university from Embry- Riddle Aeronautical University and got a job as an accountant for Paramount Business Jets, where I still work. Chloe has gone back to school studying for her business degree. All the while, we have conquered so many of the challenges that life has thrown at us with all of the love and support of the people around us.
Well, that is the short of the long of it in the lives of Chloe and David. We are so excited to be sharing our recent marriage with you all and are looking forward to seeing every one of you on September 21st!
