As two people who come from loving homes and greatly cherished our own childhoods, we're very energized by the idea of having a family of our own. Ideally sooner rather than later. As biology is not on our side, we're currently looking into our options for both adoption and surrogacy – which average out to $40,000 and $110,000 respectively. We have plenty of things – too many, really, and we don't need a Vitamix or sterling silver gravy boat.
