Joe and Christine first met while working together at American Title. They, along with other coworkers, would regularly go out to lunch. Two days before Joe was leaving for Jamaica for a friend’s wedding, Christine joked about him having room in his suitcase so she could tag along. Later that day, Joe asked if she was actually interested in joining. Being a travel junkie, it was hard for Christine to resist, and she accepted while making it clear that it was only as friends.

After getting to know each other more back home, they became Facebook official and started their journey together. Christine taught Joe how to scuba dive, and they went on many trips together, including snowboarding in Colorado, scuba diving in Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Belize, and Bonaire, and many more with friends and family! One such vacation was their first cruise, where Joe secretly brought the engagement ring. He used the diamond from his mother’s original wedding ring in a new setting. Joe finally proposed at the peak of St. Maarten, and Chrstine enthusiastically said “yes!”

For their wedding, Joe and Christine are returning to the resort at which they had their “first date”. They are both very excited to celebrate with their friends and family, and to start the next chapter of their life together.
