Bridgette & Christopher

It all began in 2009, when we were just teenagers. We met online—Bridgette was in Northern Virginia, and Christopher lived in Virginia Beach. Despite the distance, we quickly formed a strong connection, video chatting almost every day. That summer, we met in person at Mount Trashmore Park. It was love at first sight. Christopher smiled and said, “I’m going to marry you one day.”

Life had other plans, and the long-distance became difficult. We decided to remain best friends and eventually lost touch. But fate wasn’t finished with us yet.

Ten years later, in 2019, Christopher found Bridgette on social media. We met again at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront, and in that moment, all the old feelings came rushing back. It was like falling in love all over again.

Fast forward to Christmas Day 2023—surrounded by family, Christopher proposed. Bridgette said YES! through happy tears. He looked at her and said, “I told you I’d marry you one day.”

Sixteen years later, here we are—getting ready to say “I do” in November 2025.
We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you.
