This was our first Halloween together. I dressed has little red riding hood and he dressed as Macho Man. What a cute couple's costume.

Despite COVID, Brandon and I wanted to enjoy Halloween. Brandon's mom constructed a PVC pipe candy shoot to allow us to toss candy down for a special social distancing Halloween. He dressed as Shaggy and I as Velma.

Brandon and I visited Asheville, NC. Here, Brandon submitted a graduate school application to the University of New Mexico, thinking nothing would come of it.

That application from December landed Brandon a funded PhD and incredible research opportunity. This was the photo we used to announce the move to New Mexico.

I graduated from Eastern Kentucky University in May 2022. Brandon had graduated a semester early, in December 2021, but we took pictures together anyway.

On July 16, 2022 we said goodbye to Kentucky and hello to New Mexico!

In December 2022, a winter storm moved in across the United States. This caused the major Southwest Airlines meltdown, and left us in Albuquerque for Christmas. We luckily found out about this an hour before Walmart was closed on Christmas Eve, and ran out to grab some items for a Christmas dinner. We went to the River of Lights (pictured here) and built a gingerbread hose! At the time, we were very disappointed, but this was one of our most fondly remembered Christmases.

Brandon and I got engaged on April 1, 2023 - April Fool's Day. We went to the Petroglyph National Monument because I always wanted to go. He waited until the sunset and the mountains turned their usual pink/red shade, which is one of my favorite things about Albuquerque. We went to Mtucci's, our favorite local Italian restaurant, to celebrate.

I am so excited to be marrying the best concert partner, hiking buddy, and best friend! This is us at the Post Malone concert in Albuquerque.
