St. Mary's policy is to lock the door of the church 20 minutes prior to the wedding to allow the bridal party to come in and not be seen by guests. If you arrive later than 1:10, you will wait outside until the doors are opened once the bride has come down the isle.

Bee Creek Ranch is an outdoor venue. Guests will be seated on the lawn and dancing on the lawn! Ladies may want to bring a change of shoes to the reception if you are wearing heels.

St. Mary Cathedral respectfully asks that guests dress in a modest way which includes, covering plunging necklines, thin straps, and/or bare shoulders with a wrap, shawl, or jacket while inside the Cathedral. They ask that women please be mindful of the length and slits of their dresses/ skirts, having them no shorter than an arm’s length. Please have men tuck in their dress shirts and remove any hats before entering the church. While dress sandals are appropriate footwear, they ask that guests refrain from wearing, flip flops and/or crocks.

Validated parking is provided for the wedding. Saint Mary Cathedral is located on 10th Street, between Brazos Street and San Jacinto Boulevard in downtown Austin. You may park in Capitol Towers parking garage located directly behind Saint Mary Cathedral. The entrance to the parking structure is located on San Jacinto Street right after the alley between 10th and 9th Street. Upon entering the garage: - Press the button at the Entrance Gate Kiosk upon entering to be issued a parking ticket. - Take the elevator to 1st floor, exit through to 9th street and walk-up Brazos Street to the Cathedral, located at the corner of Brazos and 10th street. Tickets can be validated in the school gym after the wedding.
