Clint, a Franklin, TN native and University of Tennessee alum (#GoVols), and Peach, originally from Memphis, TN, both found themselves in Franklin. Peach moved there in 2015 to attend O'More College of Design and decided to make it her home.

Their journey together began at Topgolf Nashville in late 2018, where Clint started working as a server, followed shortly by Peach in January 2019. Although they first crossed paths casually while golfing with friends in June 2019, timing briefly kept them apart.

Their story resumed in February 2020, blossoming into a relationship just as COVID-19 emerged. Despite the challenges, Clint embraced the opportunity to visit Peach's hometown of Memphis, spending a month getting to know her loved ones. They bonded over Lego dates and outings to Opry Mills Lego store, cementing their love story.

Clint orchestrated a spectacular surprise with the help of Peach’s sister, Caleigh, and her friend McKenzie. On November 5, 2023, while Peach was in Memphis assisting her dad Mike with home projects, Clint and his mom, Leisha, drove from Franklin to Memphis for the big moment. Peach had no inkling of what was unfolding, thanks to Clint’s careful coordination with friends and family to keep everything under wraps.

Peach believed she was celebrating McKenzie’s birthday with friends Anna and Samantha at Costal Fish Company. Unbeknownst to her, Clint had planned a breathtaking proposal. They cleverly sent Peach on a delightful detour that Sunday afternoon. After stopping at her sister Caleigh’s for makeup—since Peach had only packed for housework—McKenzie and Peach picked up Anna, recently returned from Japan, at her parents’ house. Already running late for their reservation, McKenzie suggested a spontaneous photo stop at the community pond where they had taken prom photos, Peach reluctantly followed her instructions.

As they pulled in, McKenzie playfully nudged Peach toward the dock, teasing her to approach "the sketchy guy." Confused, Peach walked up to find Clint waiting there, prompting her joyful exclamation, "What are you doing here? Aren’t you supposed to be at work?" With laughter and love, Clint knelt down and proposed. Overjoyed, Peach said yes as friends and family emerged, cheering and celebrating their nearly four-year journey to this unforgettable moment of engagement.
