MEET UP: @ Parking Lot @ 7:30 AM @ Handicapped Parking Stalls near Baseball field.
Start your morning with a hike! Feel free to join us for an early morning workout! This is a hike of about 1000 stairs to the top, please read Yelp reviews to get an idea of fitness level required. Some stairs are steep and this hike may not be appropriate if you have a fear of heights. Please note this is a moderate to advanced hike. Please participate at your own risk.
P.S. This is the hike Obama did while he was on vacation in December!
Please meet us there at the Koko Head Trailhead Parking Lot at 7:30am if you want to join us. Make sure to bring water with you and put on some sunscreen. This is an informal meet up, we won't be asking for rsvp or anything, just come if you'd like and we'll see you there! The trailhead is easy to find, so if you come late, just follow the stream of people and you will see there is a clear trail to the top.
There is plenty of free parking, feel free to drive your own vehicle or taxi/Uber/Lyft is possible as well.
We understand that this hike may not be appropriate for everyone, for alternatives, we recommend Diamondhead hike or Manoa Falls. Both are very popular options, and safe for visitors and are at an easier level.

We met in Washington D.C. where we both worked as interns. Through late nights at the Washington Monument and happy hours near Dupont Circle, we became good friends. Long story short, our friendship developed into a long distance relationship spanning multiple cities and countries including Seattle, St. Louis, Beijing, Shanghai, France and Kona! Six years later, Jay popped the question on a beautiful rooftop surrounded by our amazing Hawaiian ohana (family). Our friends in Hawaii helped plan and surprise Connie with a proposal scavenger hunt leading up to the proposal on June 25, 2016. Because Oahu is where we call home now, we've decided to have our wedding here too!
We shared the most epic internship summer in Beijing 2010 and share mutual priorities in life: escape rooms, trapeze, aerial aerobics, and travel!
The original STL partner in crime - from studious nights at BreadCo to dancing nights at 1018, we've pretty much done every cool thing there is to do in the Lou!
Never a dull moment together, we've skydived on a whim in Missouri, and also traveled to China to teach English!
Our adventures cover the full spectrum: from crazy times at Senior Frogs to classy days at Derby!
Friends since college, Alex is always the best host for visits back to Seattle
Friend who also loves to travel around the world, we even met up in Tokyo!
Always making visits back to Seattle fun and memorable
Friends since high school, we've both had fun on Big Island and Oahu
