We met down in Ocean City Maryland in May 2021. Caleb was down with his family for the week, and I was down visiting some friends. We both ended up being at the Purple Moose on the Boardwalk on Saturday night. Everyone remembers this part of the story when I knocked the speaker over on the stage at the bar... oops... Caleb reached forward to pick it up and I turned around and looked at him and very rudely... told him I did not need his help and that I got it. :) He surprisingly did not turn around and walk away but instead asked if he could buy me a drink. We then ended up exchanging phone numbers at the end of the night. The same evening, he walked 9 blocks down to my parents' condo, just to hang out and we sat on the beach just talking and getting to know each other until we were able to watch the sunrise. In these past 3 years, we have been on so many different adventures together. We have been to New York City, where he made me walk 14 miles! LOL. We have made it to DC a few different times, many different beaches, many many different concerts and we have found a love for musical festivals. Fast forward to my birthday 2023 where he surprised me to go see the Jonas Brothers. My favorite band. He sucked it up and went with me and ended up thinking it was one of the best concerts that he has ever been to. Christmas 2023 and then New Years 2023 is approaching, and Caleb and I go down to OCMD like always, my home away from home! My parents are with us, and his sister and sister in law where Caleb popped the question and asked me to marry him. When I say I had no clue he was planning on doing it that weekend... I had not a clue! We are looking forward to this next step of our lives together with our friends and our family by our sides.
