Darby welcomed Tanner to the campus of Charis Bible College, on his very first day! Upon their first interaction, she introduced herself to the handsome leaned back cowboy. Not impressed by his charm, she kindly escorted him to his table group. That was the end of that (or so they thought)...

Months later, after several passing interactions at school, the duo would reunite at a bible study of a mutual friend. They would begin to work on ministry projects together, seeing each other almost everyday. Day after day their mutual attraction grew and they started dating in October of 2023.

After nearly a year of dating Darby and Tanner have decided to move forward in their relationship -- Marriage. Tanner proposed in August of 2024.
