John Paul “JP” Hartman - Best Man
JP has been my best friend since I was seven. We’ve had adventures all over Montana, from Missoula to Bozeman, and more river floats, road trips, and questionable decisions than I can count. There’s even one very not-so-funny story from Butte—but I’ll let JP tell that one. No matter what, he’s always been by my side, and I wouldn’t have anyone else as my best man.
Elizabeth “Liz” Kaczmarek - Maid of Honor
Liz and I have been best friends since we were four years old, which basically means she’s stuck with me for life. We’ve been through it all together—elementary school drama, awkward phases, inside jokes, and enough ridiculous memories to fill a novel.
Now she’s engaged to Tyler—who, conveniently, is one of the groomsmen—so it kind of feels like we’re just expanding the friend-family empire over here. I couldn't be happier to have her stand by my side on my special day as I know we will always have each other's backs.
Zachary Sanders - Groomsman
Zach started as McKenzie’s brother but has become a great friend. We bond over basketball, working out, and video games, usually trying to out-trash-talk each other in the process. At this point, he’s stuck with me—whether he likes it or not.
Brooke Thomas - Bridesmaid
Brooke is Davis’s older sister, which makes her my soon-to-be sister-in-law—but honestly, it feels like she’s been my family for years. We became fast friends the moment we met, and somehow we’ve collected a ton of unforgettable (and slightly chaotic) memories ever since.
Brooke is smart, hilarious, fiercely loyal, and even though she’s now contractually obligated to love me, I like to think she actually wants to.
Everett Casey - Groomsman
Everett, JP, and I have been a trio since childhood. Late-night gaming, sleeping on trampolines, and pushing the limits of what we could get away with were just part of growing up. Now, he’s married to Anna (one of the bridesmaids), so I guess that makes him slightly more responsible—slightly.
Anna Casey - Bridesmaid
Anna and I go way back to middle school. Reconnecting over the years has been such a gift. She’s one of the kindest, warmest souls I know, and every time we get to hang out has been such a treat that I truly treasure.
She’s married to Everett—one of the groomsmen—which just makes it even more special having them both here. I’m so glad life brought us back into each other’s orbit.
Tyler Cöenen - Groomsman
Tyler and I met through our significant others, and we’ve been tight ever since. We bond over bow shooting, board games, and game nights at Lewis & Clark Brewery. Outdoor adventures are always in the works, and later this year, he’s getting married to Liz, the maid of honor—so he better be taking notes at this wedding.
Elizabeth “Beth” Faust - Bridesmaid
Beth is what I like to call our unofficial matchmaker—so really, we owe her everything. She came into our lives during those weird, blurry pandemic days when no one knew what day it was and group FaceTimes were basically therapy. Davis, Beth, and I became friends through mutual friends, and we clicked instantly. Like, talk-every-night, laugh-at-everything, share-too-much-information kind of clicked.
Since then, Beth and I have only gotten closer. She’s one of my absolute favorite people and honestly feels more like a sister than a friend. We love her so much, and I’ll forever be grateful for her big heart, sharp wit, and for quite literally helping me find my forever person.
Christopher “Chris” Lodman - Groomsman
Chris and I met during the pandemic, and that summer was legendary—gaming, binge-watching Breaking Bad, and throwing axes at his place. JP almost nailed Chris’s cat, Stubby, to a stump during one of those sessions, but we all made it out alive. We also went to the University of Montana together, making sure college wasn’t too serious.
Rebecca "Becca" Hartman - Bridesmaid
Becca has always been like the little sister I never had. We grew up spending almost every weekend together—back when life was just sleepovers. I watched her climb trees fearlessly while I stayed firmly on the ground (turns out, heights aren’t my thing). She also helped me learn that I'm terrified of the dark during one of many games of flashlight tag.
We’ve known each other since early elementary school, thanks to the Hartman crew. Her big brother JP—who’s now the Best Man—was part of it all, too. I’ll always be thankful for those years, and for Becca, who will forever be my honorary little sis.
