Delenn and Josh met while attending Oregon State University. 9 months into dating Delenn moved to Palo Alto, California to receive a heart transplant at Stanford University. Josh would make the 9 hour drive multiple times over the next 5 months to visit while Delenn was recovering.

Once released from the hospital the two would alternate on who would make the 9 hour drive until Josh graduated in June of 2019.

Once graduated Josh moved to Davis California to be with Delenn. The two lived and worked in Northern California, through covid, moving back to Oregon in 2021. In October of 2022 Josh and Delenn bought a house in Washington, officially setting roots in the PNW.

The two own 3 dogs, 1 cat, and multiple chickens, on their homestead. (Bentley, Cash, Wille, and Wasabi) They plan on building an A-frame on their property before starting a family.
