Our story began in Seth's senior year of college and Eliese's sophomore year! Seth was working as a Resident Director and Eliese as a Resident Assistant, and the the two of us frequently interacted with each other around campus. Eliese's first memory of Seth was beating him in Monopoly (only after she teamed up with three coworkers!). When Seth left his job only a few short months later, he decided the one thing he couldn't leave behind was Eliese! After accidentally mailing a package to campus, Eliese happened to be working the desk and made sure to set the box aside. She marked it "Sethy-poo," which gave Seth the hint that she might be a fun wedding date. He FaceTimed her and asked her out to the wedding, and the two of us have been inseparable ever since.

We love to play board games together (especially Trivial Pursuit, we're always trying to prove who's smarter!), try new restaurants, travel across the country, and go to concerts and live events. We've already started our own little annual traditions like attending the Hy-Vee IndyCar Raceday Weekend in Iowa every summer, and hitting small town restaurants for a date night and some tasty homemade cooking. Most importantly though, we both know we have a home in each other's hearts and lives.

In May of 2024, Seth surprised Eliese with another fun adventure at Nebraska City's Arbor Day Farm, where he had concocted a plan to disguise the trip as a "business spotlight" for his Facebook blog. After a long day of admiring nature and enjoying good eats, he took her on a carriage ride at sunset, got down on one knee, and asked her to be his wife.

Since then, we have been wedding planning like madmen so that we can celebrate our big day with you! We are so blessed and honored to have each of you to take part in our special day.
