Billy and Elise met in 2016 at a hometown party and quickly talked every day after that. Their first date was July 26, 2016 and started dating on August 1, 2016. They both attended each others family reunions on day three of knowing each other, so they quickly knew they had a special relationship! Elise and Billy both graduated high school earlier that summer in 2016, and Elise went to college at Penn State Behrend for one year. Elise then transferred to Slippery Rock in 2017, where Billy went and they got their first apartment together. They lived at Slippery Rock for 3 years until graduation in 2020, and then moved into a family home when Billy started working and Elise continued at Slippery Rock for Physical Therapy school.


July 27, 2020 Billy rescued their special pup, Xena, from North Carolina and brought her home to grow their family. Three years later in 2023, Elise graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy and Billy was there to support her throughout the journey. During a special trip to Myrtle Beach for a family vacation and country music festival (they love concerts and the beach), June 6, 2024 Billy asked the special question on the beach, and Elise said yes! Elise has always dreamed of getting engaged on the beach. They are so excited to share their lives together and see what the future holds!
