Their story begins with a trip to Finland.

Elizabeth and Tyler met years ago through a mutual friend.

In 2022, Tyler and the mutual friend invited Elizabeth to join them on a trip to Finland that December. During this trip, Elizabeth and Tyler got to know each other more, learning that the two had a lot in common, including music, movies, and travel.

Over the next few months, Elizabeth and Tyler's friendship grew from texting to late night phone calls, eventually leading to Tyler asking Elizabeth out on a date.

By early 2024, the couple knew they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together.

On their trip to Las Vegas in March 2024, Tyler proposed to Elizabeth and they began to plan their ceremony.

The more they talked, the more they realized they wanted an intimate experience and decided to elope to the Garden of the Gods, Colorado.

On September 13, 2024, Elizabeth and Tyler married each other in a sunrise ceremony.

Both live in a house in Alanson, Michigan. Tyler works as a General Manager at a hotel in Charlevoix and Elizabeth works as an assistant teacher in Harbor Springs.
