You will then travel north to the Anacortes Ferry Terminal, which is a 2-3 hour drive from Seattle.

Suggested options for getting to the terminal:

1. Rent a car from the airport and drive there. You can drive your car onto the the Ferry, which gives you more freedom to explore the island.

or

2. Take either the Islander Shuttle or BelAir Shuttle from the airport to the ferry terminal.

From the terminal, you'll take a Ferry to Friday Harbor on San Juan Island.
