Once upon a time, a man swiped right... on a woman named Sayvanna. He lived in Iowa; she was just visiting a friend. Alas, their fates weren't aligned.
But that dear, sweet friend saw the potential and quickly turned to her friend at supper and said "You should go on a date with this guy." The friend laughed and thought about how funny that would be. After some prodding, she agreed to send the man her phone number.
And so, Morgan and Ellen met through their unlikeliest of mutual friends. After a date in downtown Des Moines eavesdropping on the table next to them, another at B-Bop's, and beers at the horse races, Ellen told her mom "I'm either going to marry him or this is gonna hurt like hell."
Morgan made sure both were true by taking Ellen skiing for the first time where she promptly fell on her face and got a black eye the day before starting a new job. But nevertheless, they persisted through the literal bumps in the road (and the ski slopes).
After eight months of long distance while Ellen was working in Ghana, Morgan came to visit with some of Ellen's friends and proposed under West Africa's tallest waterfall. Everyone cheered, including the Italian man in a Speedo who photobombed all their photos.
And here you are, so you know the rest of the story. See you in September :)
