What is the dress code?
Dress however you'll feel your best! If you want to look like a bridesmaid, be sure to wear a flowy, floor-length blue dress.
When is the RSVP deadline?
It would be enormously helpful if you could RSVP by August 13. RSVP instructions will be available when invitations go out mid-summer.
Can I bring a plus one?
If your save-the-date/invitation says "Jane Smith & Guest", we've included a plus one for you in our guest count. Otherwise only those listed by name are invited.
Are kids allowed?
If your save-the-date/invitation says "Jane & John Smith and Family", we've included your children in our guest count. Otherwise only those listed by name are invited.
Where is the closest airport?
The nearest airport can be found in Des Moines (DSM) about 40 minutes from Winterset. Other airports include Omaha (2 hours), Kansas City (3 hours), Minneapolis (3.5 hours), and Chicago (6 hours), but beware; there is very little reliable public transportation between these destinations and Des Moines/Winterset.
