Q + A

Where Is The Ceremony?

St. Bridget Catholic Church located on 6006 Three Chopt Road, Richmond, VA 23226 *Ceremony will begin at 2pm*

Where Is The Reception?

The reception is at the John Marshall Ballrooms located on 101 N 5th Street, Richmond, VA 23219 *Cocktail hour begins at 5pm*

Can I Take Photos & Videos During The Ceremony?

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This means we are asking that all photos and cameras are put away and turned to silent/off during the ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer and videographer to capture some of the most important moments of our lives and we'd hate to have a persons phone or camera blocking that moment for our photographer and videographer to capture. After the ceremony and church exit please feel free to take as many photos as you want and share them with us!

How Will The Seating Work?

During the ceremony, we ask you pick a seat not a side. We want our guests to sit on whichever side they would like of the aisle. On entry to the wedding reception you will have an assigned table from our seating chart.

Are Kids Invited?

Due to limited numbers, we hope you understand that our wedding will be kid free besides those participating in the wedding.

What If I Don't RSVP By The Deadline?

If we do not receive an RSVP back from you by our October 2nd deadline, you will be marked "not attending". The reason for this being that we must provide accurate guest counts to all of our venders within a timely manner.

Are There Any Colors We Should Avoid Wearing?

We kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the Bride - whites, ivories, and creams. Along with Emerald Green & Navy

How Should I Dress?

We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! We kindly ask that you dress formal. Suit & tie for men and fancy cocktail dresses for women.

Is The Wedding Indoors Or Outdoors?

No need to worry about the weather. Our ceremony and reception are indoors!

How long is the Ceremony?

Yes, this is a Catholic wedding but since only one of us is Catholic this will not be a full mass plus the vows/wedding ceremony part. The Ceremony may be about 40-45min long

What Happens After The Ceremony?

After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures. During this "intermission" you may go back to your hotels and touch up before arriving at the reception venue. The cocktail hour at the John Marshall Ballrooms starts at 5pm.
