Our love story began way back in 2014 when David and Gaby followed each other on Instagram. They spent their college years in the same social circles but had yet to have the opportunity to meet directly. Throughout these years, David and Gaby would message each other on and off, constantly popping into each other's lives. Then, in 2021, David finally asked Gaby out on their first date, and they have been inseparable since! Yes, David did; in fact, take years to ask her out (working up the courage was not easy)! You can imagine how much anticipation this caused for their first date. They went to a boozy brunch at Copper Blues, where they spent hours talking and getting to know each other more. Her grandmother, Bea, even called her during this date to see where she was! This is a moment, to this day, David often mentions. He says it is one of the moments he knew Gaby was different in the best way possible, as she came from a family who deeply cared for her. Somehow, David was able to swoon Gaby, and she fell head over heels for him. Gaby loved David's charisma, confidence, and ability to make her feel like she was the only girl in the world (he still has that ability to this day). Through the ups and downs, Gaby and David have managed to fall more and more in love with each other as their relationship has progressed. In June 2023, David surprised Gaby on her family trip to Europe, where he proposed to her in a beautiful Italian villa (Villa Monastero). It had always been Gaby's dream to be proposed to or to get married in Italy. David made her dream come true. Now, they are getting married and are very excited to celebrate with their family and friends!
