Our Story

Joshua and Giselle have known each other for a long time—since middle school, through high school, and even at UNC Charlotte. We shared mutual friends and simply crossed paths during some of life’s busiest and even loneliest seasons. Over the years, we drifted in and out of touch, living different lives, unaware of what was waiting for us just around the corner.

Life brought us back together at a mutual friend’s wedding reception (shoutout to Brody & Chloe). Joshua will tell you this all started because he “invited himself over” for a movie night. As time passed, we reconnected, and Joshua’s persistence and sincere heart won Giselle over. Looking back, we see that God had His hand on our story all along. The pieces of our journey were being woven together long before we realized it.

During our sweet years of dating, we kept God at the center of our lives and built a foundation of love, trusting that we were being prepared for this next chapter. Now, with hearts full of gratitude for the path that led us here, we are excited to take the next step into forever as husband and wife.
