Hailey and Sisto met during their time together at Columbus Grove High School. The two of them have always shared mutual friends and found themselves at quite a few of the same social gatherings throughout the years during and following high school. Sisto was a couple grades older than Hailey in high school, and for Sisto's senior homecoming in 2016 he had asked Hailey to share a dance with him. As well as, he had asked Hailey if she would like to wear his football jersey to the Friday Night Homecoming Football Game. Hailey, excitedly and nervously all in one, agreed to both of Sisto's requests. Thus, being the first "romantic" encounter between the couple.

Fast forward to March 2023, Sisto had scored his first date with Hailey. Sisto had made multiple attempts at asking Hailey on a date since their first encounter in 2016 at the homecoming dance. Hailey decided to give Sisto a chance, and on March 3rd, 2023, Sisto took Hailey to Columbus, OH on their first date. They spent the day shopping around the outlet malls, running around in the rain that was down pouring, laughing and smiling all day with each other. They spent the following weeks spending a lot of quality time together, developing a soft & beautiful love for one another. A few weeks later on March 25th, 2023, the two decided to update their Facebook status to, "in a relationship." Haha. But seriously, the two knew they were meant for each other.

Fast forward again to August 5th, 2024. The day this devoted and harmonious couple agreed to forever with each other. Sisto and Hailey were on a trip in Pigeon Forge, Tennesse with family. The night prior to the proposal, Sisto had let Hailey know he wanted to wake up early the next morning to go see the sunrise and then go tour around Gatlinburg, seeing as the couple hadn't been to Gatlinburg yet during the trip. Sisto also told Hailey to dress up nice, because he wanted to take her to a nice restaurant in Gatlinburg thereafter the sunrise and the touring around. Little did Hailey know, Sisto had hired a photographer to capture the moment and Sisto knew Hailey would have wanted to be slightly picture ready for the big moment. The couple woke up the next morning and headed to Gatlinburg. Sisto pulled into the parking lot in which he thought would be a nice place to watch the sunrise (which actually turned out to be the place the photographer from around the area recommended based on scenery and privateness), and as the couple pulled in, Hailey noticed a woman with a big camera coming out of the bushes. The couple then got out of the car and walked up to a railing, overlooking the beautiful mountain top scenery. They enjoyed watching the sun glisten over the treetops, while soaking in the fresh morning air, and listening to the most peaceful sounds of nature. The serene silence then broke as Hailey heard Sisto speak his thoughts out loud, he took a deep breath and whispered, "okay." to himself & exhaled nervously. Hailey then turned around to find Sisto on one knee. Sisto asked for Hailey's hand in marriage and delivered the most heartfelt devotions to Hailey. Hailey accepted the proposal, they both rejoiced through happy tears, kisses, and hugs. (pretty sure the photographer was crying too, which at this point she fully revealed herself from the bushes and introduced herself haha). The two had a plethora of conversations prior to this moment sharing their eagerness to join in unity. It was during these conversations Sisto learned to how execute the big moment in the most heartfelt and perfect way. Hailey would have only requested 1) someone be there to capture the moment in picture form to always be able to look back on and 2) it be somewhere quiet and unoccupied so that the couple could just focus on each other, and bask in the moment without disturbances from others, to be a more intimate moment for the pair. Sisto achieved just that.

This may be the end of the chapter on our life together so far, but the story has merely just begun. This was only a Glimpse of Us.
