It all started out when we were introduced by a mutual friend, Hannah's maid of honor, Jennassy Regal! We were long distance for roughly 8 months, communicating via messages with Instagram and WhatsApp, and switching to video calls once we ran into character limits. On April 4th, Hannah flew into Anchorage to see Joseph, who had just returned from India in late March.

Our first photo together at one of our first dates out on Beluga Point - Joseph planned the entire day, and it was filled with beautiful sights, exploring, watercolors, and quality time together.

Joseph's first trip to Bethel - we both volunteered to help with the Hub1 project, and had a blast doing so.

Hannah's second trip into Anchorage in June - we were attempting to complete a photo scavenger hunt!

Hannah's parent's came to Alaska for a week and had a ton of fun fishing for salmon and halibut, checking out Homer, tandem bicycling down by the shore in Anchorage, and getting lots of quality time together.

We got engaged at Beluga Point on New Year's Eve! Joseph completely surprised Hannah and enlisted help from incredible friends to make it a beautiful day from start to finish.
