We met in July 2021 at a birthday party in Charlotte hosted by my now brother-in-law, and we started dating a couple of months later. Charlotte holds so many special memories for us—especially our time at the Whitewater Center!

In July 2023, we began our travel journey out west with Remy. I took a travel occupational therapy position in Scottsdale, AZ, while Michael worked remotely. We were lucky to explore the desert, National Parks, and soak up plenty of sunshine.

In May 2024, we spent the summer in Campbell, CA, where Remy received his acceptance to Stanford University—such a smart pup!

In September 2024, we moved to Ruston, WA for another school-year contract and loved taking in all the natural beauty the Pacific Northwest has to offer.

In June 2025, we made a cross-country road trip back to the East Coast and landed in Richmond, VA to be closer to family and continue our adventures.
