Our Story
Blake & Heather

For us, our story begun in 2011 at Enterprise High school. The rest is history. Since then Blake has pursued his degree and licensure in aircraft maintenance and I earned my bachelors degree at Troy University in Elementary Education. We’ve bought land, went through surgeries, losses, and wins together in the past eight years and Blake has finally put a ring on it!
We couldn’t have asked for a sweeter proposal. Blake proposed at my Grandma Edie’s house during our Christmas Eve celebration. His family was celebrating at the same time- so I knew he wouldn’t come! To my surprise he popped in and popped the question in front of my entire family while we were playing Dirty Santa. My sister had just stole my gift so it was my turn to pick a different present... but there were none left to pick (well played Mom & Hannah). Blake asked me were we short a gift, then got on one knee and gave me the best gift- my PERFECT custom ring! Having my entire family there to share that special moment meant the world to me. It really was a night I will never forget!
This next chapter of our lives is one we can not wait to share with our family and friends. We are blessed to continue to share our dreams with each other and to start our family... together. Our story is just getting started. Here’s to forever. #goingGoodson

The Wedding

5:00 PM
Daleville Baptist Church
100 Donnell Boulevard , Daleville, AL
Daleville Cultural and Convention Center
750 S Daleville Avenue, Daleville, AL
Both of these places hold a special place in Heather’s heart. Her parents were married in this church and it’s the church she grew up in. Their choice of reception venue has a special story too. Heather’s grandparents were the first people to ever use the Convention Center. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary there.
