A must-do!
Stroll along River Street, optional beverage in hand (open container allowed), parallel to the Savannah River. There are dozens of cute shops, delicious restaurants, rooftop bars with river views, and historic landmarks to explore along the way. Stop by River Street Sweets and sample a famous praline. It's the perfect way to soak up this beautiful city's southern charm.
Plant Riverside District is our favorite place to hang out on the river. If you're looking for nightlife, this is where you'll find it! Take in spectacular views of the river, dance to the live DJ, or take the slide down to the moon deck where there is ample lounge room and lawn games.

Jones Street is said to be the most beautiful street in Savannah, lined with Historic homes, brick sidewalks, and cobblestone streets.
Broughton Street is the main shopping street of downtown Savannah with a mix of known retailers and boutiques, as well as restaurants. Check out one of our favorite stores, The Paris Market, and enjoy a delicious ice cream at Leopold's Ice Cream next to the iconic SCAD Theatre.
Savannah's historic district is made up of 22 squares. Lafayette Square, where Holly and Justin got engaged, and Chippewa Square, where the Forrest Gump bench scene was filmed, to name a couple. Stroll through these iconic squares that are filled with history.
City Market is a quaint marketplace area that has art galleries, restaurants, boutiques, and occasional live music. You can also find horse-drawn carriage tours here!
Take a free ~5-minute ferry ride across the river stopping at the Westin. You'll get a beautiful view of the Savannah Riverfront.
The Alley Cat Lounge is a hip basement bar tucked away in an alley speakeasy style. They offer an impressive array of cocktails and a large list of spirits. Enjoy one of our favorite cocktail bars!
An ~25-minute drive from Historic Savannah is Tybee Island, our popular local beach.
A ~16-minute drive from Historic Savannah is Wormsloe Historic Site. Enjoy a beautiful walk, explore nature, and learn about the area's history.
