We met at UMass Amherst when Chris was a first year student and Huyen was the chemistry lab TA.

Once we started dating, Covid happened and the world shutdown as our relationship continued to flourish.

Chris was there to support Huyen as she was finishing her time at UMass. Everyone came together to celebrate Huyen's PhD defense!

Huyen quickly moved down to Philadelphia to start work and Chris was there to help with the move and putting Ikea furniture together.

With now 300-mile distance between them, they still make time for each other during the long-distance relationship, switching from Amherst to Philadelphia.

Chris and Huyen continued to explore new places during this stretch of time and traveled to Florida, Ohio, North Carolina, New York, and Vermont.

During a romantic trip to Vermont, they decided to commit to each other for the rest of their lives <3
