There are many hotels and AirBNBs around the wedding venue depending on your preference. If you plan on staying for longer, AirBNB is a wonderful option. If you are part of a group that would be the most affordable one as well.

Bulgaria uses the Lev. You can withdraw directly from an ATM once there or use a change bureau although the ATM is cheaper. You can pay in most places with your cards but we do suggest having a bit of cash on you.

If you are traveling from US/Canada you don't need a visa, but you do need a passport.

If you are traveling from the EU an ID card is enough
