Bella and Eric crossed paths countless times before they started dating. From Bella modeling for a video Eric was filming to Eric filming Bella's sisters wedding, they were always around. A week before Iris' wedding, Bella happened to stop by Dutch Bros while Eric was working. There was no romance between them yet but Eric walked with Bella through the whole line talking about their shared asthma. It was easy, but neither of them thought anything of it.

In November of 2021, Bella and her friends, Jack, Josh and Liv were filming a short film for Jack's class project. They decided that a great shot for this film would be for a mirror to break. They went to the store and bought a brand new mirror and took it to the McMinn house where they were filming the project. When the time came, Josh grabbed a screwdriver, rolled up his sleeves and waited for the okay from Jack. Jack pressed record and gave him the signal. Josh hit the mirror with full force and it broke beautifully. However, a piece hit Josh's arm causing him to bleed A LOT. They all freaked out and Bella grabbed a washcloth to try and stop the bleeding. They quickly realized that Josh needed to go to the hospital. They piled into the car frantically. Bella holding Josh's arm in a cloth, Liv keeping hopes high and Jack doing everything he could to get us there fast. Finally we get to the Emergency Room and Josh gets brought back for his stitches. The 3 of us waited for almost 2 hours before Josh finally came out - all fixed up. We asked him if there was anything he wanted and he responded with a burger, from In-N-Out.

Eric was working a close at Dutch Bros in South Reno. As he got off, his best friend Miguel called him. He asked if Eric wanted to go to In-N-Out with him and Eric told him no. Miguel asked and asked and finally, Eric gave in. They met at In-N-Out, ordered their food and sat down. Not long after, they saw 4 familiar faces walk in. It was Bella and her friends. They ordered their food and Eric and Miguel invited them to join! They all sat down together and started talking. As Bella and her friends shared about their night, Eric and Miguel finished their food. Before they left, Eric asked Bella for the video of Josh. He hugged her and they went home. Bella sent the video to Eric that night. He responded kindly, as did she and then he left her on read!

Bella couldn't stop thinking about Eric. She didn't know why but she decided to reach out to him again. He responded and they started talking more often. They got along better than they ever imagined and laughed at all of each others jokes. This was the start of their first inside joke and a beautiful relationship.

After only a few weeks, Eric asked Bella to go see a movie. Of course, she said yes. They saw the movie Licorice Pizza and went to In n Out for dinner afterwards. They talked for hours and hours and both knew that this was the start of something special. On January 29th, 2021, Bella and Eric started dating officially.
