Jacque and Cade met in 2018 while attending Morrilton High School. Jacque saw a shaggy-haired boy she didn't recognize walking in the hallway on the first week of school. She thought he was pretty cute and after asking around, she learned that it was Cade. When it came time the cheerleaders to pick a couple football players as their body sign boys, Jacque chose Cade for a chance to get to know him better and she figured at the very least he would be nice.

During the football season, Jacque would bring Cade his body sign and candy. He would blush and could hardly get a word out whenever she came around. Cade thought (and still does) that Jacque was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen! They got to know each other better during the season, eating together after the Huntsville game and taking their first picture on October 19. Even though they were spending more time together, the two didn't go on their first date until February 16, 2019, and Jacque asked Cade to prom a few weeks later. Driving Jacque back home from prom, Cade knew that someday he was going to marry this girl.

Jacque and Cade officially became a couple on May 18, 2019 and have been together ever since. They have stuck by each other through graduations, moving to new states, and three years of long distance.

As Cade got closer to graduating college in 2024, he began planning how he was going to propose. For years, he had been telling Jacque he was going to propose at the Lookout on Petit Jean Mountain but decided on Garvan Gardens at Christmas as he likes to say, "to maintain the element of surprise." Cade enlisted the help of his co-conspirators Juleigh, Ashlyn, and Shelby to plan the proposal. On December 17, 2024, Cade proposed to Jacque at Garvan Gardens in the rain, and she said yes!

Cade and Jacque are excited to write the next chapter in their lives as they join together in marriage!
