Kyle and I started "dating" 2 days before my 15th birthday.

I was having a birthday party after a home football game. All the girls spent the night at my house while the boys spent the night at my neighbor, Ryan's, house. We did what most young teens do on a Friday night in September, we decided to play 'ghost in the graveyard' on the Brooten golf course, and split up into teams of two. Of course most of us coupled up and made our way out onto the golf course. Kyle and I started heading towards hole 5. We talked most of the night and no one ended up finding us and we decided to start heading back to my house. Kyle told me that he wanted to do something and he kissed me! And that was that - we were 14 & 15 and we were now dating.

We were together all of highschool and even went long distance for 6 years while I was finishing pharmacy school. Long distance was tough but honestly we became stronger than ever because of it. On December 23, 2023 Kyle asked me to marry him in front of both of our families. It was a great night!

Now, we are FINALLY getting married, no longer long distance, and living in a house near Kyle's parents farm. Kyle is helping on the farm and I am a pharmacist in St. Cloud. We can't wait to celebrate our big day with you all!
