The couple had their first encounter freshman year of high school. Perry Lecompton came to Santa Fe Trail to play basketball. Before dropping 25 points, Zach saw Jaeden up in the stands and thought she was cute. After the game he slid into her DMs on Facebook. They hung out one time and then went their separate ways. After 12 years and a lot of life in between, they found their way back to each other. Jaeden made the first move this time by snap-chatting Zach, and the rest was history. After a lot of traveling, concerts, rooftop beers, movie nights, building a house, and raising a son they decided that they couldn’t live without each other. On October 29, 2023 Zach asked Jaeden to marry him in their forever home.
