Their love story starts a bit a far back, to 2016! Jake and Gabby met in a quite unusual way. They started out as coworkers at an Orlando theme park. And even though they used to pass by each other, one interaction changed it all. On a cool fall afternoon in November, Jake and Gabby happened to be put in the same food cart for the first time. They took care of the guests throughout the day; but there was a natural spark between them that was crystal clear, leading to them exchanging contact information! They messaged each other throughout the night, making each other laugh, and seeing how much they had in common. They even took a leap of faith and became an official couple that same night! Jake and Gabby thought becoming an established couple so fast was insane; but at the same time, it felt right.

Throughout the first few years of Jake and Gabby's relationship, they created so many beautiful memories. They've seen a ton of movies at the theater; Ouija: The Origin of Evil being their first movie they saw together! Jake and Gabby also have bonded through their love for gaming, from online shooters to immersive story games. They've taken trips outside of Florida too, like driving up to Virginia to branch out of the Florida theme parks, and driving throughout Blue Ridge Parkway. From exploring state parks throughout the east coast, to binge-watching shows and anime, Jake and Gabby have always found the best in each other's company. And they've fallen in love with each over and over throughout the years.

In 2020, Jake and Gabby moved to the next step of their relationship, moving in together! They moved in a cute little one-bedroom apartment close to the theme parks. They even adopted their first fur baby, Dusty! The one unique thing about this transition, however, was the global pandemic itself progressing a week after their move in. While the world outside was chaotic and full of uncertainty, Jake and Gabby's love proved to be stronger than ever. They found the strength and peace in each other in their own little bubble. About a year and half later, they adopted their second fur baby, Phoebe!

Fast forward to July of 2024, the proposal! Jake planned a sunrise proposal for Gabby. While she was suspicious of it being a proposal, Jake and Gabby's closest friends convinced her it was a project photo shoot for a future vlog. They were in on the proposal too! They all woke up while it was still pitch black out to make their drive towards the East Coast, setting the plan in motion.

When they all arrived at the beach, the sun was just peaking out the horizon. Their friends went along and took turns doing their poses for their photos. And when it was Jake and Gabby's time, there was no going back. As the golden rays stretched across the shore, Jake was down on one knee, and asked the question Gabby had to say yes to! The beautiful sunrise that morning symbolized the fresh start, and the excitement of their upcoming marriage!

Now, to the wedding planning! We're so excited to be getting married this fall. November 2026 is special to us not just for the beautiful color-changing scenery, but also it marking our 10 year anniversary! We fell in love with the blue ridge mountains early in our relationship, and chose our venue sight unseen. Another shoutout to Kim for showing us the venue last year! We can't wait to finally get married, and celebrate with you!♥️ Fall in love again and again!🍁
