We added some hotels and places to stay that are close to Lakeside. For your own private places, check out Airbnb or VRBO. Homes close to the lake can be very expensive, but there are some really cool options. If you're open to a condo, there are some really reasonably priced places!
See the map of the Flathead Valley below for an idea on where to stay if you want to book your own place.
Bigfork and Kalispell are about 20 minutes from Lakeside. Whitefish and Columbia Falls are about 45 minutes away (but closer to Glacier Park). Polson is about 30 minutes away, but it is at the south end of the lake and a lengthy drive from the airport or Glacier.

Best Western Plus Flathead Lake Inn and Suites
This is the closest "chain" hotel to Lakeside. It can be on the expensive end for a hotel but is in a very central location. Information from the hotel on booking with the link is as follows: This link gives your guests 10% off the regular room rate, so they can select any room type that they choose subject to availability in that time frame. Since this is based on availability it is recommended that they book well in advance. They will put their credit card info in the reservation to secure it, but the charges are not authorized until check in. They also will have up to 24 hours prior to arrival to cancel the reservation if something changes for them. It is best to copy and paste the link into the web address bar, then they will select Edit at the top right and choose the dates and number of guests. It will show the available room types for those dates, and within the room type you select "see more rates", and then the wedding rate will appear.
Somers Bay Log Cabin Lodging
Really pretty and very close to the lake (although there's a busy highway between you and the lake)!
West Shore Campground
This is a campground about 8 minutes south of Lakeside. I believe you can start booking in late spring of 2025!
Outlook Inn Bed & Breakfast
This place is new, but looks really nice!
Red Lion Hotel Kalispell
A little further away in Kalispell, but should be a bit more affordable.
