On our first date May 15th, 2022, we met up at a coffee shop in Hobe Sound and just talked. Jess was super quiet and Lauren was just trying to fill the emptiness with words. Later that day, (it was a day long date) after we had our fill of walking through a park we stopped to eat at a picnic table and both just remember thinking "This is my human", while we ate the homemade sandwiches and wine Lauren had brought. Right before we ended the date and went home we hugged and everything just felt calm. Like nothing could ever go wrong.

On the second date, we went to a park near Hobe Sound on Memorial Day weekend. That day Jess was finally introduced to Pub Subs and the magic they behold. That is also when Jess asked Lauren if she wanted to start a relationship with them.

On March 1st, 2023, Lauren surprised both of them when she asked Jess to marry her. And on September 23rd, 2024, Jess had planned out a proposal set up at home to ask Lauren to marry them when she got home from work.

In the past 2.5 years since then, their time together has been full of love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. They are so excited to begin this next chapter as partners.
