Our Love Story 

They say love often finds us when we least expect it—and ours began in the most unexpected place: a church gymnasium. While our sanctuary was under renovation, we gathered there for services. Sunday after Sunday, I noticed her. She would slip in a little late and sit directly in front of me, unknowingly capturing my attention every time. As weeks passed, she became a part of Greater Bethlehem Temple Church, and our lives began weaving together in subtle ways. We sang side by side on the praise team, lifted our voices in the youth choir, and worked shoulder to shoulder in the church kitchen.One night in rehearsal, Josh R. said, “You never know—you might meet your future husband or wife in rehearsal.” None of us could have guessed just how prophetic those words would be. On August 23, our story truly began. What started as a simple message—asking if I needed a desk—felt more like a nudge from fate (or perhaps, her way of asking if I needed a wife 😂). From that moment, our journey together unfolded. Our very first date was on her birthday, a day already special but now forever ours. With flowers in hand, he invited me to Amerigo Italian Restaurant, and what began as dinner quickly blossomed into something far greater.From sneaking food into the movies (he laughed even when I got caught!), to discovering new restaurants, to creating adventures big and small, every moment together felt like a page out of our own love story. Through seasons of joy and challenges, we’ve discovered the beauty of building our future on a foundation of faith, laughter, and love. We have become each other’s best friend, biggest encourager, safe place, and partner in every sense of the word. Ours is a love full of joy and playfulness, rooted in God’s goodness and sealed with laughter. And now, with grateful hearts, we step into the next chapter—forever, together.

My sweet Kimmie. We met in 2016 during undergrad at USM, and we’ve been rocking ever since. Kimmie has been there for me through my worst and my best. I’ve had the privilege of watching her blossom into such an amazing woman. I’m so glad we met, and I look forward to many more years of sisterhood. Although she’s miles away, her love and sweet spirit are always close. I’m so grateful you get to experience this beautiful love story with me.

Greater Bethlehem Temple Church is where it all began. What started with a simple “hi” and “when will you be back at church?” lol—turned into us becoming best friends. I’m thankful for all the great memories and for you becoming the sister I always wanted. From car rides and Starbucks runs to now watching me walk down the aisle, I’m so grateful you’re a part of this special day.

Vanna and I have known each other our entire lives—literally, we were born just a week apart. I like to think our parents planned it that way. Though we’re cousins, we’ve always been sisters at heart. Vanna has seen me through it all, and I’m so grateful for how much she’s helped me over these past few years. She’s always been a constant in my life, and I truly hope that never changes.

Our friendship started once I moved to Jackson and begin attending Greater Bethlehem Temple.  It seems as if we have been friends all of our lives.  If it wasn't for Sam, I'd like to think Charles and I wouldn't have found each other this soon.  Grateful you get to be apart of this journey and many more years to come.
