Takeem and Jessica met in 2018 at UT Martin where Takeem played football and Jessica played volleyball. Over the years we became really close friends, but did not officially start dating until November of 2020.

Our first date was to a haunted house in Union City, TN. On this date Jessica realized that Takeem was her person to push her when she needed pushing and Takeem realized Jessica was CRAZY. Over the next couple of years we continued to support each other on an individual level, as well as, growing our relationship as a couple.

In May of 2022, we made our first huge step in our relationship move to Johnson City, TN so Takeem could pursue his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. With this decision we packed up our little tiny cars and hit the road for Johnson City. For those who may not know, Takeem is from Greeneville, TN which is only about 40 minutes away from Johnson City. This was such a blessing, because it gave us the opportunity to have the most amazing family, friends, and support system so close. Jessica's family has been extremely supportive of their decision to move in together even if that was half a continent away.

In March of 2023 we made another huge leap and purchased our first home together. We have been spending the past year fixing it up and making it our own. Through this adventure we have learned so much about our hopes and dreams together as a couple and future family.

We want to thank everyone for their continued support in our lives. We love each and every one of you and are so grateful for the roles each of you have played in our lives as individuals and as a couple. Moving forward we are extremely excited to continue to do life with all your love and support by our sides!
