Shannon has said from the beginning that he wants the night to feel like a family reunion. The ceremony is the highlight, then we want to celebrate by sharing a fun meal and spending time with our loved ones.

Truly your presence is enough of a present for us. If you do feel lead to give anything, since we are combining households and do not need material items, a donation to our honeymoon fund would be greatly appreciated. We have the honeymoon planned for the beginning of May. We’ll be taking a 7 day cruise to the Bahamas and Jamaica. We will be serving breakfast for dinner from our favorite breakfast spot.

We will not be doing assigned seating so feel free to sit anywhere you like in the reception room. As soon as the ceremony is over you can find a spot and take your plate to the food line where they will serve you. You’re welcome to take some time to socialize before you eat if you’d prefer that. But we do ask you eat sooner rather than later as the caterers will be putting food away a certain time.

Basically there isn’t one 😁 We are having a very informal reception, so there won’t be the typical wedding things such as first dances and speeches. As we’ve said we want it to feel like a family reunion. Just eat and enjoy yourselves and get to know each other. We will be doing a bubble exit around 8:30 that we’d love your participation for.
