Though they initially met at Fairmount Friends Church, their first conversation took place when a mutual friend arranged a trip to Indy Scream Park. This marked the start of their friendship.
In an effort to get to know Adam better, Jordan organized a bowling Quick-Pick Pick-a-Date. After bowling, the two headed to Ivanhoe’s with a few friends and had an amazing time.
Pick-a-Date: A planned dorm event where you bring a date.
Quick-Pick: A spontaneous Pick-a-Date with less than 48 hours' notice to find a date.
The two attended Fairmount Friends Church with friends from sophomore to senior year, not realizing how much the church would come to mean to them.
After some time apart, Adam asked Jordan out on a date to Grains and Grill in Fairmount, IN. Following a successful evening, Jordan invited Adam to a Lee Brice concert for her birthday celebration. Since then, they've attended over 9 concerts together, featuring headliners such as Cody Johnson, Ian Munsick, Zach Bryan, Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Whiskey Myers, Dan + Shay, Jordan Davis, and Justin Moore.
The two began dating towards the end of September. On their first trip to Wisconsin, Adam was quickly introduced to the life of a “girl household”—Target trips and having the guys carry the bags!
Fun Fact: Adam has 3 brothers (2 older, 1 younger), while Jordan has 3 younger sisters.
The couple took a trip to Kansas during winter break. Jordan joined Adam as he golfed in 60-degree weather—quite the contrast to a typical Wisconsin winter!
In April, Jordan broke her ankle, marking the first of many ER trips for the couple. Over their 2-year relationship, they racked up quite a few hospital visits:
Jordan: 2 ER trips and 2 surgeries.
Adam: 2 ER trips and 1 surgery.
The couple celebrated their graduation from Taylor University with their families. Both majored in Finance, with Adam minoring in Sports Management and Jordan minoring in Psychology. During the ceremony, they were seated next to each other, making the moment even more special.

To celebrate their two-year anniversary a day early, Adam picked up Jordan with a dozen red roses and 24 letters, each representing a month they’d been together. When Jordan noticed one letter missing, Adam played it off as a mistake—but it was part of his plan.
They went to Grains & Grill in Fairmount, IN, reminiscing about their first date. Afterward, they walked around town, stopping by Fairmount Friends Church. Outside their pastor’s house, a four-wheeler was waiting. After some convincing, Jordan joined Adam for a ride through town.
Adam drove them to a field he’d secretly planned. There, a picnic basket and blanket were set up, and he revealed the 24th letter before popping the question. Jordan’s sister, her sister’s boyfriend, and their pastor emerged to take photos and celebrate. After a quick engagement photo shoot, the two enjoyed the sunset, s’mores, and wine.
Back at Jordan’s apartment, family and friends surprised them with a party. It was a night to remember!
